Following the release of her book, The Millennial’s Playbook to Adulting, Arika Pierce came to Guide My Brand with the goal of increasing her brand profile as a Gen-Z and Millennial Leadership Coach. As a working professional, Arika wanted to ensure she didn’t lose the momentum she’d gained over the previous year—even though she didn’t have much time to build and expand her brand—so she turned to us for help along the way.
We started working with Arika in August 2019, and we started with a multi-pronged approach to publicity that included both traditional and online media opportunities such as guest blogs, podcast interviews, and TV appearances.
Our campaign focused primarily on legitimacy-building media appearances, and we were thrilled to see Arika’s work featured in Business Insider, Marie Claire UK, and Create & Cultivate — as well as multiple podcast appearances targeted to young leaders and professionals.
